1,306,522 Visitors in Four Days... Leading in Reservation Rate as Well
Marvel Studios' new release 'Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3' has surpassed 1 million viewers at the fastest pace among this year's releases. According to the Korea Film Council's integrated box office data on the 7th, the cumulative audience reached 1,306,522 on the fourth day after its release. It surpassed other top-grossing films this year, including the animation 'Suzume no Tojimari (six days)', 'Negotiation (Ire)', 'Super Mario Bros. (eight days)', 'John Wick 4 (eleven days)', and 'The First Slam Dunk (fourteen days)', reaching the 1 million milestone the quickest.

A recent film with a similar box office trend is 'Top Gun: Maverick (four days)', which attracted 8,177,446 viewers last summer. The upward trend is expected to continue next week, surpassing the cumulative audience numbers of the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' series' first film (1,311,190 viewers) and second film (2,735,721 viewers). As of 10 PM on the same day, 'Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3' also led the real-time reservation rate with 33.0% (76,548 viewers), significantly ahead of 'Fast & Furious: Ride or Die (17.7% · 40,977 viewers)' and 'Moon Jae-in Imnida (11.4% · 26,380 viewers)'.
