President Yoon's First Year in Office... Lee Jung-jae Hopes for a Better Korea
The Presidential Office released an interview video on the 7th featuring citizens who have met President Yoon Suk-yeol and his wife, ahead of the President's first anniversary in office on the 10th.
On the same day, the Presidential Office uploaded the video titled "The Republic of Korea Desired by the People, Hope Interview" on the 'Yoon Suk-yeol TV' and 'Government of the Republic of Korea' YouTube channels. Participants included merchants from Busan Jagalchi Market, Pohang Ocheon Market, a teacher from Seoul School for the Blind, merchants from Cheongju Yukgeori General Market, a young entrepreneur preparing for independence at Busan Mongsil Coffee, a police officer from Seoul Sinchon Police Station, and actor Lee Jung-jae.
Lee Jung-jae, ambassador for the 2030 Busan World Expo, said, "Over the past year, we have all worked hard with hope," adding, "As our daily lives return to normal, we are also dreaming big about inviting people from around the world to the Busan Expo."
He further stated, "I hope that going forward, our country will be one where the people's wishes come true, a proud and livable Republic of Korea."
