"Adolescent Counseling is 1388" Online Event for Family Month in May
The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and the Korea Youth Counseling and Welfare Institute announced on the 4th that youth in need of help and counseling can use the Youth Counseling 1388 service anytime during May, the Month of Youth.
Youth Counseling 1388 is a non-face-to-face counseling service available 24/7, 365 days a year, free of charge via phone, smartphone, or computer. Last year, it provided over 836,000 counseling sessions.
The Ministry and the Youth Counseling and Welfare Institute will also hold an online event for sharing youth concerns from the 8th to the 17th.

Participants can leave their concerns or experiences of resolving worries in the comment section of the promotional video on the Youth Cyber Counseling Center’s YouTube channel, then submit the comment content, name, and contact information on the center’s website. Seventy winners will receive mobile gift certificates.
