The 25th Gyeongsangbuk-do Disabled Sports Competition, held in Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk Province (Governor Son Byeong-bok) since the 2nd, successfully concluded its two-day event with a closing ceremony on the 3rd.

View original imageThe closing ceremony included announcements of the competition results, screening of highlight videos, overall awards presentation, and the handing over of the competition flag to the next host city, Gumi-si. The event officially ended with the extinguishing of the torch, which had been ignited with the passion and hope of the disabled athletes at Mangyangjeong Sunrise Park on the 1st.
The Gyeongsangbuk-do Disabled Sports Competition featured 10 official events and 2 demonstration events, where athletes demonstrated high levels of challenge and passionate spirit, creating a harmonious venue for both disabled and non-disabled participants.
In the overall awards, Cheongdo-gun received the Jinheung Award, Gyeongsan-si the Harmony Award, Gimcheon-si the Cheer Award, and the host, Uljin-gun, proudly received the Meritorious Service Award.
