Shinan-gun Delivers Gifts to Low-Income Children on Children's Day
"I will support you to spread your dreams to the world"
Shinan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Park Woo-ryang) celebrated the 101st Children's Day by visiting child welfare facilities and low-income families with children under the age of 18 within the county.

According to the county on the 4th, this visit involved delivering gifts to 24 children at Shinan Childcare Center and 230 low-income children, including those from basic livelihood security households, single-parent families, foster care, and adopted children.
The gifts were prepared considering the children's age and gender, ranging from toys to electronic devices.
The parents of the children who received the gifts expressed their gratitude, saying, "With high prices, even buying a single toy is daunting, so we are very thankful to receive Children's Day presents like this."

Governor Park Woo-ryang stated, "We will spare no effort to support children under 18 in Shinan-gun by providing the 'Sunlight Child Allowance' so that every child can grow up bright and healthy without losing hope and can pursue their dreams toward the world."
