Gwangsan Police Station in Gwangju Conducts Drug Prevention Activities for Students
On the afternoon of the 3rd, the Dosan Police Substation of Gwangsan Police Station in Gwangju conducted crime prevention activities targeting youth in front of Songjeongseo Elementary School against the so-called 'throwing method (drug beverage)'.
The police warned that recently, in the area around academies, incidents have occurred where students were deceived into drinking beverages containing drug ingredients, and then the perpetrators called the parents demanding money by saying, "If it becomes known that your child took drugs, it won't be good for you."
They explained cases of this crime and promoted the message that if anyone experiences something similar, they should promptly report it to 112.
