DL Construction Donates 10 Million Won for Hongseong Wildfire Recovery Fund
DL Construction announced on the 4th that it donated funds on the 2nd to aid in the recovery from the forest fire damage in Hongseong-gun, Chungcheongnam-do.

View original imageThe large forest fire that occurred from the 2nd to the 4th of last month in Seobu-myeon, Hongseong, Chungnam, destroyed approximately 1,454 hectares (ha). In particular, the fire caused property damage worth about 174.5 billion KRW in the Hongseong area, which was designated as a special disaster zone.
In response, DL Construction donated 10 million KRW through the Chungcheongnam-do Community Chest of Korea.
Meanwhile, DL Construction continues its sharing activities with the goal of ‘contributing to the local community.’ In December last year, through a counseling center for the urban poor in Incheon, it donated 10kg of kimchi to every household (320 households) in the ‘jjokbangchon’ located in Jung-gu, Dong-gu, and Gyeyang-gu in Incheon, as well as to some elderly people collecting scrap paper (30 households), donating a total of 3.5 tons of kimchi.

Additionally, at the end of 2020, DL Construction provided 100 million KRW to purchase equipment such as fire extinguishers and gas leak detectors for about 1,500 fire-vulnerable households in Incheon. In the same year, in June, it also donated 30 million KRW to the ‘Our Home Space Filling Project,’ jointly promoted by Incheon City and the Incheon Community Chest of Korea. The funds were used to support small home appliances for 20 disadvantaged households in Mansu-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon.
