Lotte Chilsung Operates 'Milkis Cloud House' Pop-up Store
Operating at Seongsu-dong 'Teddy's Oven' until the 16th
Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on the 4th that it will operate a pop-up store until the 16th to enhance the brand image of ‘Milkis Zero,’ the first zero-calorie oil-based carbonated drink in Korea recently launched, and ‘Milkis,’ which has maintained great popularity for 34 years since its release.
Milkis Zero, which debuted in February this year, has created a sensation by selling over 15 million cans (based on 250mL cans) in just about 70 days since its launch, and Milkis also saw an increase in sales compared to the same period last year. To respond to this consumer enthusiasm for the Milkis brand, Lotte Chilsung Beverage set up a pop-up store at the caf? ‘Teddy’s Oven’ in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.
The pop-up store is themed ‘Milkis Cloud House full of pleasant excitement in everyday life,’ expressing the smoothness of Milkis through ‘clouds.’ On the first floor, there is a large Milkis waterfall, a welcome zone greeted by the popular character ‘Cinnamoroll,’ and a kitchen selling limited edition menu items. The second floor consists of a goods zone co-created by Cinnamoroll and Milkis, an experience zone where visitors can make cotton candy themselves, a cloud swing and various photo zones, and a resting space for healing inside the clouds.
