Lee Chung-ho, Chief of Jeonnam Provincial Police Agency, announced on the 3rd that he participated in the ‘NO EXIT’ relay campaign to prevent drug crimes on the 2nd.
Chief Lee stated, “Jeonnam police will strictly punish major crimes such as internet distribution and habitual drug use, and to protect local residents and youth, we will conduct drug crime prevention education through field visits, intensively crack down on illegal stays for criminal purposes, and actively fulfill the role of the rescue team supporting the rehabilitation of drug offenders by establishing a rapid information-sharing and strong crackdown system with related organizations.”
Chief Lee nominated Kim Young-rok, Governor of Jeonnam, and Kim Dae-jung, Superintendent of Jeonnam Education Office, as the next participants.
Meanwhile, this campaign was initiated by the National Police Agency and the Anti-Drug Movement Headquarters to spread the will of all citizens to ‘eradicate drugs,’ selecting veteran actor Choi Bul-am, an honorary police inspector, as the first relay participant.
