Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station "Searching for Artifacts Embracing Firefighting History"
The Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station announced on the 3rd that it is collecting artifacts embodying the history of firefighting to be exhibited at the National Fire Museum, scheduled to be established in 2025.
This firefighting artifact collection and donation campaign is being promoted to discover materials containing hidden firefighting history nationwide, register them as museum collections, and preserve them to reexamine the history of firefighting.
The artifacts to be collected include firefighting-related documents, books, items, clothing, equipment, regardless of size or type.
To participate, visit the Fire Artifact Archive website, click on 'Artifact Donation Campaign,' download the 'Fire Artifact Donation Application Form,' and submit it via email.
Donors will receive a donation certificate, a plaque of appreciation, invitations to various important events and exhibition openings, and other honors and benefits.

A firefighting official stated, “We ask for the public’s active interest and participation in the firefighting artifact collection and donation campaign so that artifacts with historical value in firefighting can be systematically preserved.”
