Jeju Air and Open Medical Association Provide Medical Volunteer Service in the Philippines
Jeju Air announced on the 1st that it conducted medical volunteer activities for five days starting from the 26th of last month in Malabon, Philippines. Located north of Manila, Philippines, 30 medical staff members including emergency medicine, anesthesiology and pain management, pediatrics, and dentistry specialists from Jeju Air employees and the Open Medical Society participated. This marks the 22nd volunteer activity.
The participants provided free medical consultations, prescriptions, and basic health education to local community residents. Two general volunteer participants recruited through Jeju Air’s social media also took part. Jeju Air’s affiliate, Aekyung Industrial, sponsored over 1,000 toothpaste and toothbrushes for the local residents.
Jeju Air and the Open Medical Society have been conducting medical volunteer activities in various Asian regions since 2011.
