Three museums in the Suwon area have switched to charging admission fees starting from the 1st of this month.
View original imageThe city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province has switched the admission of three local museums, which were operated free of charge after the spread of COVID-19, to paid admission starting from the 1st.
The museums that have transitioned to paid admission are ▲Suwon Museum ▲Suwon Gwanggyo Museum ▲Suwon Hwaseong Museum.
These museums had been offering free admission since May 2020, while limiting the number of visitors by time slots.
The Suwon Museum Office explained that due to the decrease in COVID-19 cases and the complete lifting of mask mandates, they decided to change the museum admission fees to paid.
However, even after the transition to paid admission, entry is free on Culture Day (the last Wednesday of every month).
