Fire Situation at Line 9 Deungchon Station Managed... Passed Without Stopping for About 2 Hours, Now Operating Normally
A fire broke out in the basement of Deungchon Station on Seoul Subway Line 9, causing trains to pass through the station without stopping for about two hours before the situation was brought under control and normal operations resumed.
According to the Seoul Metro Line 9 control center on the 30th, fire-related measures within Deungchon Station were completed from 8:15 PM, and all trains are now operating normally.

Seoul Metro, which operates Line 9, evacuated passengers from the station. Seoul Metro activated the carbon dioxide fire suppression system, which lowers oxygen levels to extinguish the fire, and to control and manage the fire, trains passed through Deungchon Station without stopping for about two hours.
