Volvo Invests in AI Startup 'Coactions'
Volvo Cars announced on the 25th that it will invest in the brain monitoring AI startup ‘Coactions’ through its venture investment organization, Volvo Tech Fund.
The AI-based software developed by Coactions precisely detects the cognitive state of drivers and passengers based on subtle muscle movements that reflect brain activity. By sensing the fine muscle movements through the steering wheel sensor, it captures various abnormal signs such as driver distraction, alcohol consumption, and drowsy driving.
