KT Launches AI Freight Brokerage and Transportation Platform 'Brocarry 2.0'
KT announced on the 24th the launch of ‘Brocarry 2.0,’ a freight brokerage and transportation service with significantly enhanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, developed in collaboration with RollLab, a digital logistics specialist group.
Brocarry, launched in May last year, has provided services such as AI-recommended pricing, next-day payment, and responsible transportation. Within just one year of its launch, it surpassed 10,000 carrier members and secured more than 160 medium to large-sized shippers, receiving positive responses in the market.
The newly released Brocarry 2.0 actively reflects the demands received from customers in the field over the past year of service operation. KT and RollLab have significantly strengthened AI-based functions such as AI transportation control and AI freight recommendation in Brocarry.
Shippers can receive powerful transportation control services based on KT’s AI technology. By combining real-time location and traffic information collected through KT’s proprietary GIS and navigation technologies with historical data learned by AI, users can check not only the precise delivery information of current freight but also the estimated arrival time. Additionally, Brocarry 2.0 allows convenient, customized ordering of not only one-way freight but also multi-stop and round-trip freight, which were previously handled manually.
Furthermore, carriers receive AI-optimized freight recommendation services based on preferred regions and travel route data. Based on this, they can use a freight truck-specific navigation system linked with information such as vehicle type and height.
RollLab also provides professional consulting services to shippers for efficient logistics operations. Alongside Brocarry 2.0, RollLab utilizes KT’s AI transportation optimization platform, LIS’FO, to propose optimal operation plans and pricing considering various conditions for each shipper.
KT and RollLab plan to lead the digital logistics market by advancing Brocarry, including providing AI voice guidance services for volume notification and dispatch through analysis of accumulated transportation data.
