KT, Recruiting Testers for Elementary Live Education Platform 'Crudy'
KT announced on the 23rd that it will open the 'Poten-byul Class' and recruit elementary school students to participate in order to offer a free trial of the online live education platform for elementary students, 'Crewdy.'
Crewdy is a real-time online education service that combines 'crew,' meaning group, and 'study,' meaning learning, where teachers and students learn and participate together as one group.
KT set the title "Looking for elementary school astronauts to embark on the largest classroom in the universe" and began recruiting elementary students to explore a total of seven 'Poten-byul Classes' categorized by ▲literacy ▲imagination ▲thinking skills ▲information skills ▲numeracy ▲vocabulary ▲social skills. The Poten-byul Classes are composed of high-quality educational programs selected through excellent teachers from Crewdy and top curricula from specialized fields such as Daekyo, Genius Education, Icecream Edu, YBM, and Gilbut School.
To apply, applicants can visit the dedicated Crewdy event site, select one Poten-byul class they wish to participate in, and submit their motivation for applying. The recruitment period is from the 24th until May 16th. A total of 300 students will be selected.
The selected elementary students will participate in real-time live classes for four weeks with 4 to 6 small groups of friends, considering the child's learning tendencies and led by professional teachers. In addition to live classes, all necessary textbooks and teaching materials will be provided free of charge. Furthermore, a pre-orientation will be held to help the selected students and their parents smoothly participate in the Poten-byul Class process. To foster a sense of belonging to the class and enhance the effect of studying together, welcome kits such as 'Our Poten-byul T-shirts,' 'Poten-byul Passports,' and 'Praise Stickers' will be provided, and a separate 'Poten-byul Certificate of Completion' will be given after the class ends.
Meanwhile, KT is also holding various events to celebrate the opening of the Crewdy Poten-byul Class. These include attendance check events, prize giveaways such as Balmuda humidifiers, Dyson Airwraps, LG Objet all-in-one devices, and instant win events. Anyone who signs up as a member can participate. Students who are not selected for the Poten-byul Class can experience Crewdy’s services with a 90% discount on the first month when paying for regular classes. Detailed information can be found on the official Crewdy website.
