CJ CheilJedang Excycle Basak Chip announced on the 20th that it will conduct an environmental protection campaign and expand the operation of pop-up stores. The company aims to take the lead in enabling consumers to enjoy the food upcycling culture in a healthier and more enjoyable way.
First, on April 22, Earth Day, a plogging campaign (plogging: picking up trash while walking) was held. Employees working at the integrated research center CJ Blossom Park located in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, participated in the ‘Plogging Walkers Club’ event held on the 19th. The Plogging Walkers Club is a volunteer group for the Earth created by the Food Upcycling CIC (Company Independent Organization) team. Starting with the first Plogging Walkers Club activity held around the CJ CheilJedang headquarters last month, the participation scope will be expanded to include general consumers.
