Yoon Hee-geun, Commissioner of the National Police Agency, stated on the 18th, "Since the Central Police Academy is a key educational institution that produces most of the new police officers, I hope the comprehensive reform of new police training will proceed smoothly."
On the same day, Commissioner Yoon visited the Central Police Academy in Chungju, Chungbuk Province, to check the progress of the comprehensive reform of new police training and gave a special lecture to police trainees.
The Commissioner also gave a special lecture to about 500 police trainees of the 312th class currently undergoing training.
Commissioner Yoon told the trainees, "The police, who protect the lives and property of the people, have a truly rewarding and noble profession," and urged, "As the future leaders of the police, trainees should devote themselves to the education at the Central Police Academy to develop competent skills and a strong sense of mission before going out to the field."

A trainee named Kim said, "Through the special lecture, I was able to understand what ideals the organization holds and how it is striving to lead future public safety," adding, "I want to quickly go out to the field and become a great police officer who does their best for the safety of the people."
