Government Announces Public Design National Idea Contest
Seeking Solutions to Everyday and Social Inconveniences Through Public Design
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Craft & Design Foundation will hold the 'Public Design National Idea Contest' from the 1st to the 22nd of next month. This project aims to identify daily and social inconveniences and seek solutions through public design.
This year's slogan is "Public Design, Connecting Boundaries." It aims to create a world where everyone can enjoy together by bridging boundaries such as age, gender, nationality, and disability through public design.
The contest is divided into public design and public campaign categories. Anyone in the nation can participate, and teams can be composed of up to five members.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will select twenty-three works and award a total prize of 54 million KRW. Additionally, they will study ways to utilize the works with public design experts and link them to existing projects.
