‘Presidents Cup stars’ Kim Si-woo and Kim Joo-hyung aim for a fantastic synergy.
The two players will challenge for the title at the PGA Tour’s ‘two-man team battle’ Zurich Classic (total prize money $8.6 million) held on the 20th (local time) at Louisiana TPC (par 72, 7,425 yards) in Avondale, Louisiana, USA. The 1st and 3rd rounds will be played in four-ball format (each player plays their own ball and the better score counts), and the 2nd and 4th rounds will be played in foursomes format (two players alternate shots with one ball). The winners will each receive $1.35 million (approximately 1.78 billion KRW).

Kim Si-woo has won a total of four PGA Tour titles, including the 2017 ‘fifth major’ The Players Championship and the Sony Open in January this year. He ranks 15th in FedEx Cup points (917 points) and 18th in earnings ($3,237,766).
Kim Si-woo and Kim Joo-hyung showcased outstanding skills at the Presidents Cup last September, an international men’s golf competition excluding the USA and Europe. On the afternoon of the third day, the two paired up in four-ball and caused an upset by defeating the USA team aces Scottie Scheffler and Patrick Cantlay by one hole. Defending champions Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele (USA) aim for back-to-back wins. Matt Fitzpatrick (England), winner of the RBC Heritage, teams up with his brother Alex.
