New Director of the Child Rights Protection Agency Appointed: Professor Jeong Ik-jung of Ewha Womans University
The Ministry of Health and Welfare announced on the 17th that Professor Jeong Ik-jung of Ewha Womans University’s Department of Social Welfare has been appointed as the new president of the Child Rights Protection Agency. The term is three years.
President Jeong is currently serving as a private member of the Presidential Committee on Low Fertility and Aging Society, a private member of the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s Social Security Committee, a member of the Police Agency’s Women and Youth Safety Policy Advisory Group, and a director of the Korea Child Organizations Council.
