This is a cultural and artistic performance that blends tradition and modernity, East and West, including traditional yeonhui, creative puppet shows, and dance. The performances will be held until June at locations such as Nokjiwon, the Helicopter Pad, and Sojeongwon.
The event begins with the traditional yeonhui 'Sacheolsasaek,' held every Friday and Saturday from the 21st to the 29th at Nokjiwon. The National Gugak Center's Folk Orchestra will convey the essence of folk music through street parades, lion plays, tightrope walking, and pungmul.
On the 22nd, a small concert called 'Bombom' can be experienced at the Helicopter Pad and Sojeongwon. This is a small-scale performance where traditional art groups interact closely with the audience. It features band music harmonizing Jamaican music with traditional Hwimori jangdan rhythms, creative puppet shows, and performances by female sorikkun singers.
