Chungnam, West Coast International Marine Leisure Tourism Belt Research Project
Chungnam Province has launched a research project for the development of the West Coast International Marine Leisure Tourism Belt.
According to the province on the 15th, the International Marine Leisure Tourism Belt development project aims to establish advanced marine leisure tourism infrastructure and region-specific marine tourism content along a total 1,424 km stretch of the West Coast, connecting Ansan in Gyeonggi Province, seven coastal cities and counties in Chungnam, and Jeonbuk.
The research project will carry out tasks including ▲analysis of development conditions ▲setting basic goals and directions for the marine leisure tourism belt ▲proposing sector-specific tasks and implementation strategies ▲establishing a promotion system and determining the scale and procurement methods of funding.
Through this, the province plans to diagnose and analyze the current development environment of the West Coast and prepare a comprehensive step-by-step policy, including deriving sector-specific tasks.
