"Throwing Mud Balls to Save"... HF Corporation Employees Engage in Urban Stream Improvement Activities with Busan Children
Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF) has donated 18 million KRW to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation to support water quality improvement activities for urban streams in the Busan area.
HF Corporation plans to collaborate with the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation to carry out the “Ppongdang Ppongdang Stream Revival” project aimed at improving the water quality environment of urban streams.
“Ppongdang Ppongdang Stream Revival” is a project where HF employees and local children make EM soil balls, an eco-friendly substance for water purification, and throw them into urban streams to improve water quality.
EM soil balls are made by mixing EM (Effective Micro-organisms) solution, a beneficial microorganism, with loess soil. When thrown into streams, they help purify the water and eliminate odors.
