Lotte Donates 1 Billion KRW for Gangneung Wildfire Damage Recovery Fund

Full Amount Used for Disaster Area Recovery and Local Resident Support
On the 13th, Lotte announced that it will urgently provide 1 billion KRW in donations to help the local communities affected by the wildfire that occurred in Gangneung, Gangwon-do. The donation will be given to the Community Chest of Korea and will be fully used for recovery activities in the affected areas and support for local residents.
The distribution sector of Lotte Group is also stepping up for the residents of the affected areas. Emergency relief supplies consisting of food for 1,000 people, including bottled water, beverages, cup noodles, and chocolate bars, were delivered through the National Disaster Relief Association.

Lotte has established an emergency relief cooperation system with the National Disaster Relief Association and the Foundation for Large, Small & Medium Enterprises and Agriculture & Fisheries Cooperation to secure disaster relief funds and prepare relief kits for prompt support in case of disasters. Last year, it also provided 2 billion KRW to aid recovery from wildfires in Gangwon and Gyeongbuk regions and flood damage restoration.
