Sandwich Sales Increase by 41.8%
GS25 announced on the 12th that the 'Geunbon Turkey Sandwich' has become very popular, ranking second in sales within its category.
The Geunbon Turkey Sandwich targets health-conscious consumers in their 20s and 30s by increasing the amount of fresh vegetables and using a special sauce seasoned with minced onions and other ingredients. According to GS25, sandwich sales increased by 25.2% compared to the previous year, and sales from January to March this year grew by 41.8%.
A model is introducing the Geunbon Sandwich series at GS25.

The third series product, the Geunbon Club Sandwich, has increased the amount of vegetables by more than 10% compared to the previously sold in-house club sandwich, and enhanced the mild flavor by topping it with chicken breast and a moist fried egg in the special sauce.

A GS Retail official said, “To coincide with the launch of the Geunbon Sandwich, we are offering a 1,000 won combo discount when purchased together with Cafe25 coffee this month,” adding, “We hope this will be a great help to customers whose wallets have become lighter due to lunch inflation.”
