"Incheon Airport Resident Companies to Hold Recruitment Event for 604 Positions from 17th to 21st Amid Soaring Passenger Demand and Labor Shortage"
A recruitment event for about 600 personnel will be held at Incheon Airport, which is experiencing a labor shortage due to an increase in passengers after COVID-19.
Incheon City announced on the 11th that from the 17th to the 21st, it will hold the 'Incheon Airport Resident Companies Recruitment Day Event' at the Employment Support Center on the 4th floor of Terminal 1 of Incheon International Airport.
About 30 companies, mainly in ground handling and commercial facilities where the labor shortage is severe, plan to hire 604 people on-site. Job seekers can bring their resumes and self-introduction letters and visit the event venue to have interviews on the spot.
In preparation for a rapid increase in labor demand at Incheon Airport as passenger demand recovers from COVID-19, the city has been operating a 'Dedicated Recruitment Support Staff for Incheon Airport-related Companies' since July last year.
Twenty-four organizations, including Incheon City, district offices, employment centers, Incheon International Airport Corporation, and the Women's New Work Center, participate, with 32 counselors active.
Through this, last year a total of 1,036 job seekers were hired by 197 airport-related companies, and this year the city’s job center will operate on-site recruitment booths 2 to 3 times a week targeting airport-related companies.
