Hapcheon-gun Wins Excellence Award in Marketing Category at Best Festival Awards
Operation of a Promotional Hall Themed on Hapcheon Hwangmaesan Royal Azalea Festival
Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 11th that it successfully operated the Hapcheon Tourism Promotion Booth at the '2023 Korea Representative Festival Expo,' held for three days from the 7th to the 9th at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1 in Busan.
Hosted by the Korea Local Newspaper Association and organized by the Korea Exhibition Industry Agency, Hapcheon-gun operated the promotion booth themed around the Hapcheon Hwangmaesan Azalea Festival, which takes place at the end of April.
The booth attracted visitors by decorating with tall azaleas and creating a photo zone. It received enthusiastic responses from many visitors through events such as following the official Hapcheon travel SNS channels, the ‘Catch the Azalea’ event, and the ‘Make Paper Azaleas’ experience.
Additionally, ‘Tto Bogi,’ the mascot of Hapcheon Video Theme Park, participated in the mascot parade and contest, receiving great cheers from the crowd and playing a significant role in promoting Hapcheon tourism.
As a result of this differentiated marketing strategy promoting Hapcheon tourism, Hapcheon-gun won the ‘Excellence Award’ in the Marketing category at the 2023 Korea Best Festival Awards.
