Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, stated, "With the low birth rate and increase in single-person households, interest and demand in the pet-related industry are growing. We hope that through systematic professional training courses, the cultivation of pet experts and connection to employment and startups in related fields will contribute to revitalizing the local economy and fostering a mature pet culture."
