Busan Facilities Corporation Improves Growth Environment of Ginkgo Tree Path at Yongdusan Park
Busan Facilities Corporation is set to improve the growing environment of the ‘Ginkgo Tree Road’ area in Yongdusan Park, a popular tourist attraction in Busan.
Approximately 100 ginkgo trees, around 70 years old, are planted along the entrance road to Yongdusan Park. Their natural tree shapes have been well preserved, making the area a well-known autumn foliage spot for tourists.

Therefore, they plan to remove the asphalt around the roots and create flower beds to ensure proper moisture and air circulation to support the trees’ growth.
Additionally, plans are underway to improve the nighttime scenery by installing lighting that evokes the Milky Way and fireflies, as well as enhancing illumination. Various programs linked to the autumn ginkgo tree road are also being considered.
