Chosun University’s Job Creation Hub-Type Specialized Program Draws Attention
Job Plus Center Operates 'Nurse Success Strategy Course'
Chosun University is attracting attention by conducting a hub-type specialized program to create health and medical jobs in the Gwangju area in 2023.
The Chosun University Job Plus Center (Director Lee Gyehaeng) announced on the 6th that it will operate a "Nurse Pass Strategy Course" to prepare for nurse recruitment.
According to the center's analysis of the need for career exploration and employment programs for enrolled students, "job-related certifications" ranked first. Accordingly, a BLS Provider certification acquisition package course and a nurse competency enhancement package course will be operated for one month starting from the 24th to strengthen nurse employment capabilities.
Each course includes recruitment trend analysis, job preparation strategies, special lectures on self-introduction letters, interview special lectures, and BLS Provider training.
The competency enhancement course will be conducted online, and the BLS Provider course will be held face-to-face. Anyone, including 3rd and 4th-year students, graduates, and local youth, can participate.

Director Lee Gyehaeng said, "As a regional hub university, we have prepared a program that any local youth can participate in to revitalize health and medical jobs in the Gwangju area," adding, "Through this, we aim to enhance the capabilities of young people and increase the nurse pass rate within the region."
