LH Holds Workshop for 1 Trillion KRW 'Namyangju Wangsuk National Road No. 47 Relocation Project'
Commitment to Integrity and Fair Competition
Largest Ever Turnkey Construction Project in Civil Engineering
Bidder Selection After July Design Evaluation
Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 6th that it held a 'Clean Evaluation Workshop' on the 5th to ensure transparent and fair evaluation for the Namyangju Wangsuk National Road No. 47 Relocation (Underground) Project, the largest turnkey civil engineering project in Korea with a scale of 1.0502 trillion KRW.
The workshop, held at the Gyeonggi Southern Regional Headquarters, was promoted to ensure LH's transparent and fair evaluation management and the integrity of the evaluation committee, given that it is the largest turnkey civil engineering project in history.
In particular, unlike previous events that were held only for evaluation committee members or bidding participants, this event brought together the 15th LH technical bidding evaluation committee and bidding participants in one place.

The Namyangju Wangsuk National Road No. 47 relocation project involves undergrounding the above-ground national road from Jingwan IC to Yeonpyeong IC in Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do. The project includes one 4.85 km underground road, three bridges, and five ICs, with a total length of 6.41 km and a construction cost of 1.0502 trillion KRW. This is the first turnkey civil engineering project in Korea exceeding 1 trillion KRW.
To select a company with excellent technical skills, the project is conducted using the turnkey method (design and construction integrated bidding), selecting the successful bidder through design evaluation. The construction period is 54 months from the start of the priority construction portion.
Starting with the announcement of the project order in December last year, LH completed the bidding participation registration in January, plans to receive design documents by June 29, complete the design evaluation in July, and select the final successful bidder thereafter.
Through this project, LH expects to timely establish a wide-area transportation network in the Namyangju Wangsuk district of the 3rd New Town and contribute to traffic improvement in the eastern and northeastern parts of Gyeonggi Province.
