Pre-Check for Natural Disaster Preparedness in Summer
Jang Chung-nam, the governor of Namhae County, Gyeongnam, conducted on-site inspections in areas within the county that are at risk of human casualties and disaster-vulnerable zones during the "Summer Natural Disaster Preemptive Preparedness Period."
On the afternoon of the 4th, Governor Jang and about 10 related officials visited high-risk areas for landslide collapse such as Sangju Eunmorae Beach, Bonghwa in Samdong-myeon, and Daeryang in Sangju-myeon, where human casualties are a concern during heavy rain and typhoons, to check the disaster preparedness status.
