T'way Air Recruiting Participants for Firefighters' Healing Travel Campaign
T'way Air announced on the 5th that it is recruiting participants for the 4th project of the firefighter healing travel campaign, "You Worked Hard, Now Travel Cool."
This is a free travel support campaign that T'way Air has been running since 2017 in collaboration with the Korea Firefighters Association to boost morale by giving firefighters, who work passionately for the safety of the nation, a special rest and encouragement.
T'way Air resumed this campaign last year after it was suspended due to COVID-19. Last year, due to quarantine measures, the support was limited to trips to Jeju Island, but to celebrate the reopening of international skies, overseas travel support will resume this year.
T'way Air is accepting free travel applications from firefighters nationwide until April 21. To apply, participants can select the firefighter travel AR filter on T'way Air’s Instagram account, film the daily life of a hardworking firefighter, and upload it to their personal feed with the required hashtags (#YouWorkedHardNowTravelCool, #Firefighter, #TwayAir). Firefighters who do not use social media can also apply via an online link.
The winners will be announced in the last week of April. Twelve people will receive a free 3-night, 4-day trip to Boracay, and five people will be given round-trip tickets to Jeju Island. The Boracay trip will be a group tour from May 12 to 15. T'way Air will cover all travel expenses including round-trip airfare and accommodation. Detailed information can be found on T'way Air’s website under events or on their Instagram account.
Since signing a business agreement with the National Fire Agency in 2019, T'way Air has carried out various activities to boost the morale of firefighter families, including supporting healing trips, offering airfare discounts for firefighter families, conducting joint safety training, prioritizing emergency exit seats, and supporting firefighter families’ visits to the aviation training center. Additionally, to enhance mutual safety awareness, T'way Air has conducted safety exchange training between firefighters and cabin crew and organized safety campaigns through joint mural painting volunteer activities. As a result of these efforts, T'way Air has received the Commissioner of the National Fire Agency Award twice.
