BGF Retail Provides Emergency Relief Supplies to Wildfire Damage Sites Nationwide
Provision of Evacuation Partitions and Food Items
BGF Retail announced on the 3rd that it has provided emergency relief supplies for disaster victims at wildfire damage sites nationwide, where large-scale wildfires are ongoing.
The areas receiving emergency relief supplies were three heavily affected locations: near Inwangsan Mountain in Seoul, Daejeon, and Hongseong. The wildfires in these areas rapidly spread to nearby regions due to dry weather and strong winds, causing destruction of homes and facilities and forcing many residents to evacuate, resulting in continuous damage.

Upon receiving the relief request, BGF Retail immediately activated the BGF Bridge, a national disaster emergency relief operation established in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the National Disaster Relief Association. Relief supplies were first delivered to the affected sites through the BGF Logistics Center, with additional support planned. The relief supplies include evacuation partitions, emergency relief kits, bottled water, ion drinks, cup noodles, and chocolate bars. Further support for affected areas will be considered depending on the wildfire spread situation.
