View original imageOn the 30th, Statistics Korea opened a Statistical Data Center within the Jeju Research Institute and began public services.
The Statistical Data Center is an institution that links and analyzes statistical data with data from other public and private organizations. It has been operating since November 2018, and is expanding regional hub centers to enhance user convenience. The newly established Jeju Center plans to conduct various research and analyses as a regional data hub organization to support customized policies.

Han Hoon, Commissioner of Statistics Korea, stated, “The Jeju Center will play a key role in analyzing pressing issues in the Jeju region such as population, tourism, balanced development, and environment,” and emphasized, “We will further promote the linked utilization of scattered data.”
