Kang Sang-hyuk, Chairman of the Korea Communications Commission, Reports Assets of 1.5 Billion Won
Han Sang-hyuk, Chairman of the Korea Communications Commission, reported assets worth over 1.4 billion KRW. According to the changes in public officials' assets disclosed by the Government Ethics Committee in the official gazette on the 30th, Chairman Han reported a total of 1,484,410,000 KRW in assets held by himself, his spouse, and his second and third daughters. This is an increase of 155,670,000 KRW compared to last year (1,328,740,000 KRW).
Chairman Han holds an apartment worth 355,000,000 KRW under his spouse's name, land worth 339,960,000 KRW under both his and his spouse's names, and deposits totaling 594,450,000 KRW under the names of himself, his spouse, and their children. The increase in assets appears to be due to the rise in the official land prices of the apartment and land.
Vice Chairman Ahn Hyung-hwan reported assets of 1,392,160,000 KRW, Standing Commissioner Kim Hyun reported 611,750,000 KRW, Standing Commissioner Kim Hyo-jae reported 3,438,260,000 KRW, and Standing Commissioner Kim Chang-yong reported 2,948,450,000 KRW. Meanwhile, Jeong Yeon-ju, Chairperson of the Korea Communications Standards Commission, reported assets worth 1,417,980,000 KRW. Her assets increased by 347,170,000 KRW due to the rise in the official land price of an apartment she owns in Gangnam, Seoul.
