Saewool Nuclear Power Plant Signs Agreement to Support 600 Million KRW Health Checkups for Residents in Nuclear Plant Areas
Support for Comprehensive Health Checkup Fees for Residents of Onyang-eup
Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (Head: Jo Seok-jin) has launched a health support project for the residents of Onyang-eup.
On the 29th, Saewool Headquarters signed an agreement to support health checkups for residents with the Onyang Nuclear Power Plant Area Residents' Council (Chairman Choi Jong-gyu) at the village halls of Taehwa 1 and 2-ri in Onyang-eup, Ulju-gun, and decided to provide 600 million KRW in support.
The health checkups for residents of Onyang-eup are conducted for residents aged 58 and older. Residents can apply through the Residents' Council upon recommendation by the head of each village.
There are four hospitals in the Ulsan area where comprehensive health checkups are available, and eligible residents can choose their preferred hospital for the examination.
The Saewool Nuclear Headquarters and the Onyang Nuclear Power Plant Local Residents' Council are signing an agreement to support residents' health checkups.
