In rural areas where childcare facilities are insufficient, the installation and operation of childcare rooms during farming season weekends aim to resolve childcare blind spots so that infants and toddlers can be safely entrusted and farmers can engage in farming activities with peace of mind.
The farming season childcare rooms operate a total of 46 sessions, with the first term from February to April and the second term from September to November. Staff including facility managers, childcare teachers, and cooks plan to provide full-day weekend care for infants, toddlers, and elementary school students.
Parents said, "Childcare was always a concern during the labor-short farming season," and added, "We feel reassured being able to safely entrust our children and engage in farming."
