Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH Corporation) announced on the 28th that it has established a regular organization called the 'CS Mobile Unit' to respond to residents' facility complaints arising after the warranty period for defects in public housing such as apartments.
Most public construction institutions operate regular organizations for emergency defect repairs and complaint handling only within the warranty period after the construction of public housing. After the warranty period ends, there is often no dedicated team, making it difficult to promptly address facility complaints.
Through the CS Mobile Unit, SH Corporation plans to respond quickly to residents' facility complaints throughout the entire residency period. Urgent inconveniences will be resolved through on-site dispatch and technical guidance. A monitoring and response system will be established to enable prompt dispatch even when complaints occur during weekends or nighttime hours.
In particular, by utilizing in-house experts in architecture, electrical, and equipment fields as well as external specialists, the unit aims to accurately identify causes and promote swift resolution through on-site dispatch and technical guidance, thereby improving the quality of maintenance and operation services for public housing facilities.
