Netflix Produces 'Dolpung' Starring Seol Kyung-gu and Kim Hee-ae
Online video service (OTT) Netflix announced on the 28th that it will produce the series "Dolpung" starring actors Seol Kyung-gu and Kim Hee-ae.
"Dolpung" is a Netflix series depicting the story of the Prime Minister who wants to uproot corrupt massive power and the Deputy Prime Minister of Economy who opposes him.
Seol Kyung-gu plays Park Dong-ho, the Prime Minister who wants to judge the president colluding with conglomerates and change the political scene, and Kim Hee-ae plays Jung Soo-jin, who fiercely engages in political battles to confront Park Dong-ho at the pinnacle of politics with brilliant intelligence and firm conviction.

Park Kyung-soo, who presented the "Power Trilogy" with the dramas "The Chaser" (2012), "Empire of Gold" (2013), and "Punch" (2014), wrote the script, and director Kim Yong-wan, who directed the films "Champion" (2018) and "Method: Repetition" (2021), takes the helm. Studio Dragon and Fan Entertainment are producing the series.
