"American Style" Pizza Hut, '1958 US Origin' Gambit
10 Types of Toppings, 3 Types of Dough
Lineup with a Story... Strengthening Brand Power
Korea Pizza Hut announced on the 28th that it has launched 10 new authentic American-style pizza products called '1958 US Origin.'
1958 refers to the year when brothers Dan and Frank Carney first started their pizza business in Kansas, USA. Through US Origin, customers can enjoy American-style pizza with 10 different toppings and choose from various dough types such as Original, Pan, and Thin according to their preference.
1958 US Origin is based on the concept of 'tasting authentic Pizza Hut pizza from the US even in Korea,' featuring menu items such as 'LA BBQ Bulgogi,' which reinterprets bulgogi in an American style, 'Brooklyn Burger,' which transforms an American-style burger into a pizza, and 'Hawaiian Pizza' in the Hawaiian local style. In addition, customers can enjoy a total of 10 menu items, including 'Pepperoni Lover' and 'Cheese Lover,' which are sold as the same menus at Pizza Hut stores in the US.
Customers can also choose their preferred dough type from Original, Pan, and Thin. The Original dough is inspired by the sourdough commonly enjoyed in the San Francisco area of the US and was developed through optimal blending and aging methods. The dough’s exterior is crispy, while the interior has large air pockets that provide a soft texture, allowing for a chewier and more savory experience. The edge ends are sprinkled with crunchy rice to create a crispy texture.
To celebrate the launch of 1958 US Origin, Pizza Hut offers up to a 20% discount for delivery orders and up to a 30% discount for customers who pick up their orders in-store.
