‘Please Take Care of the Harbor’... BPA Creates ‘Taxi Card’ to Help Foreign Seafarers Return to Port
Busan Port Authority (BPA) is creating and distributing a 'TAXI CARD' to help foreign seafarers returning safely after going out from Gamcheon Port.
The taxi card features information on the front to assist foreign seafarers in returning after going out, including their destination, and on the back, it lists the compliance requirements for pier entry printed in Korean, English, and Russian.
BPA is distributing the taxi cards to prevent accidents such as foreign seafarers, who are not fluent in Korean, going to the wrong entrance.
The taxi cards are available at all pier entry checkpoints within Gamcheon Port, where security guards distribute them to foreign seafarers going out.
In addition, BPA broadcasts six times daily in English and Russian across Gamcheon Port during the evening hours to inform about precautions when going out and how to use the taxi card.
