'On Substitute Holidays, Beyond the Great Sea'... May Demand Surges for the US and Canada
Gyowon Tour 'Yeohaeiji', Analysis of Customer Recruitment Proportion
Gyowon Tour's travel specialty brand 'Yeohaeng-iji' announced on the 27th that the proportion of long-distance travel products accounted for 56% of total bookings during the May golden holiday period, an increase of 17 percentage points compared to the previous month.
By region, travel demand to the Americas and Canada stood out. The number of bookings for Americas and Canada products departing in May increased by 124% compared to the previous month. The company analyzed that this was largely due to the recovery of long-distance routes and the introduction of various products. For Europe products departing in the same month, bookings increased by 7% compared to the previous month.
Yeohaeng-iji proposed a variety of long-distance travel destinations ideal for the golden holiday. A representative example is 'Swiss Holic,' an 8- or 10-day itinerary traveling through the three core Western European countries centered on Switzerland: Italy, France, and Switzerland.
This product includes visits to Jungfrau, Grindelwald, and Zermatt in Switzerland, Venice, Florence, and Rome in Italy, and the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Arc de Triomphe, and Champs-?lys?es in Paris, France. It features the use of national airlines, accommodations at World Chain hotels, six local cuisine experiences, and a Vatican high-pass tour.
There is also a 7-day product for Sydney, Australia. It includes Australia's pristine natural landscapes represented by the Blue Mountains and Gap Park, as well as city tours of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. In addition, long-distance products such as a 6-day Hawaii airtel, 8- and 9-day Western US self-guided tours, 10-day New York, Eastern US, Eastern Canada, Niagara, and 8-, 9-, and 10-day tours around Southern and Northern Italy are also available.
