According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters, the paraglider carrying the woman got caught in a pine tree about 15 meters high on a hill near Cheonghak-ri, Samnangjin-eup.
Firefighters were dispatched after receiving a report from nearby villagers that a paraglider had crashed on the hill.
At the scene, 20 personnel from the Gagok 119 Safety Center and the 119 Rescue Team, along with one helicopter, one pump truck, one ambulance, and a total of six pieces of equipment, were deployed.
