A man in his 60s was arrested by the police for breaking the doorbell of a neighbor's house due to severe noise between floors.
The Mapo Police Station in Seoul announced on the 24th that Mr. A (62) was booked on charges of special property damage.
Mr. A is accused of going to the upstairs apartment in Yeomni-dong, Mapo-gu, where he lives, around 9 p.m. on the 22nd and breaking the doorbell with a hand axe.
In the police investigation, Mr. A stated, "The upstairs neighbors were too noisy, causing me distress."
