New Confirmed Cases 10,283... Increase of About 1,200 Compared to Last Week (Update)
The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced on the 24th at midnight that the number of new COVID-19 confirmed cases increased by 10,283, bringing the total to 30,749,740.
New cases on this day decreased by 1,117 compared to the previous day (11,400), but increased by 1,218 compared to a week ago on the 17th (9,065). Since the 21st, the number of confirmed cases has increased for four consecutive days compared to a week earlier.
The number of critically ill patients currently hospitalized rose by 11 to 144 compared to the previous day.
There were 10 new COVID-19 related deaths, bringing the total death toll to 34,211 (fatality rate 0.11%).
