Air Busan Holds 'Beer Talk' Meeting to Strengthen Internal Communication
Air Busan held a meeting where management and employees came together to strengthen internal communication.
On the 23rd, about 25 executives and employees gathered at the Air Busan headquarters for a dinner accompanied by beer, breaking down barriers between management and staff and engaging in open conversations during the ‘Beer Talk’ meeting.
The meeting was attended by all executives, including CEO Ahn Byung-seok, and an Air Busan official stated that direct communication with employees helped enhance mutual understanding.
In addition to this Beer Talk event, Air Busan is preparing to operate organizational communication programs suited to a younger atmosphere by planning ‘B.T.S’ meetings composed of ‘Tea Talk’ and ‘Small Talk,’ considering that many members of the organization are in their 20s and 30s.
They are also strengthening communication within organizational units through workshops like ‘Happy Together,’ where all departments including cabin crew, flight operations, and maintenance come together, and company-wide sports events such as ‘Steel Headquarters.’ Regular meetings between management and staff are also held to expand communication channels that had been reduced during the COVID-19 period.
In celebration of the Lunar New Year in January, Air Busan held a snack truck event for employees at the headquarters and Gimhae Airport under the name ‘CEO Ahn Treats!’ Since the end of last year, they have also been gradually strengthening internal communication by launching the company newsletter ‘Eobu Gonggam’ to share major company news.
