Ulsan City Holds 1st Quarter Industrial Safety and Health Committee Meeting... Discusses Major Accident Prevention
Ulsan City will hold the "2023 1st Quarter Industrial Safety and Health Committee" at 10:30 AM on the 24th in the International Conference Room on the 4th floor of the main building, with about 10 participants including user committee members and worker committee members.
The Industrial Safety and Health Committee is a body that deliberates and decides on major matters related to safety and health at workplaces in the Ulsan area on a quarterly basis.
The committee consists of a total of 10 members, with 5 worker committee members composed of practical officers and 5 user committee members composed of public officials, in equal numbers.
At this committee meeting, discussions will cover △ reports on the current status of safety and health management tasks △ the 2023 industrial safety and health management promotion plan △ measures to prevent health hazards for emotional labor workers, among other topics.
An official from Ulsan City stated, "To prevent industrial accidents, we plan to regularly listen to suggestions for securing the safety and health of city-affiliated workers and opinions necessary for improving the work environment."
In January, Ulsan City established the "Industrial Safety Division (Major Accident General Team)" within the Citizen Safety Office to focus all efforts on preventing major accidents and managing safety and health.
