Ha Jongmok, the 1st Deputy Mayor of Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, visited major project sites related to marine port development in the Jinhae area on the 23rd as part of efforts to leap forward as a Northeast Asia hub city.
This on-site inspection was conducted to check the progress of major projects, review future plans, and implement collaboration and communication through field administration.
Deputy Mayor Ha, who visited the sites, urged proactive responses to the issues and solutions of key projects prioritized by the city, including Jinhae New Port, port hinterland complexes, Ungdong district, and Jinhae Myeongdong Marina Port.

View original imageIn particular, regarding the Jinhae New Port Construction (Phase 1) project, he ordered that all efforts be made to proceed as originally planned by complying with administrative procedures such as the fisheries damage impact survey, and requested full commitment to ensure the Ungdong district project progresses smoothly.
He also instructed thorough measures such as establishing management and operation plans for the efficient advancement of Jinhae Myeongdong Marina, a mooring facility capable of accommodating a total of 300 vessels both offshore and onshore, with land development construction scheduled for completion in September.
